Mercer County Community College - Saturdays January 26 to March 9, 2013

Mercer County Community College is now offering the Animal Control Officer (ACO) Course approved by the New Jersey Department of Health. Over the course of seven (7) Saturdays you will have to opportunity to be taught by, interact with, and build relationships with eight (8) of the foremost experts in the State of New Jersey regarding Animal Control

Successful completion of this course meets the requirements of the N.J.A.C. 8:23A-2.2 statute for appointment as an ACO by a New Jersey Municipality. Additionally, this is the only Certified ACO Course whose graduates receive certification for Incident Command Systems 100 & National Incident Management 700 by the National Wildlife Fire Coordinating Group as well as Pet First Aid. In addition to the classroom component participants must arrange for and complete a 20-hour field training component in order to receive certification.

The course will be held on seven Saturdays, Jan 26 through Mar 9, 2013.  Classes will be held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Completion of the course requires attendance at all classes.

Tuition for this program is $789, which includes all materials. Registration will be through Mercer County Community College at 609-570-3311.  Enrollment is open to any person 18 years of age or older; and, there is no requirement for prior experience or training to attend this course. Camden County College - Saturdays, February 9 through March 23, 2013

Camden County College is now offering the Certified Animal Control Officer (ACO) Course approved by the New Jersey Department of Health. Over the course of seven Saturdays, eight experts will teach you the basics of animal control.

In this course graduates receive certifications for Incident Command Systems 100 and National Incident Management 700 as well as Pet First Aid. In addition to the classroom component participants must arrange for and complete a 20-hour field training component in order to receive certification.

The Certified Animal Control Officer Course will be held on seven Saturdays, February 9 through March 23, 2013 from 9:00am to 5:00 pm each day.

Tuition is $789, which includes all materials. Registration is through Camden County College at 856-874-6004.  Enrollment is open to any person 18 years of age or older; and, there is no requirement for prior experience or training to attend this course. Bergen Community College - Saturdays, January 12  through February 23, 2013

Bergen Community College is now offering the Animal Control Officer (ACO) Course approved by the New Jersey Department of Health . Warren County Community College - Saturday, April 6 to June 1, 2013

Warren County Community College is now offering the Animal Welfare & Certified Animal Control Officer (ACO) Course approved by the New Jersey Department of Health. Over the course of seven (7) Saturdays you will have to opportunity to be taught by, interact with, and build relationships with eight (8) of the foremost experts in the State of New Jersey regarding Animal Control & Animal Welfare

Successful completion of this course meets the requirements of the N.J.A.C. 8:23A-2.2 statute for appointment as an ACO by a New Jersey Municipality. Additionally, this is the only Certified ACO Course whose graduates receive certification for Incident Command Systems 100 and National Incident Management 700 by the National Wildlife Fire Coordinating Group as well as  for Pet First Aid. In addition to the classroom component participants must arrange for and complete a 20-hour field training component in order to receive certification.

The course will be held on seven Saturdays, between April 6 and June 1, 2013. There will be no class on May 25th. Classes will be held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Completion of the course requires attendance at all classes.

Someset County Police Academy at RVCC - Weekdays, April 8 through April 16, 2013

Somerset County Police Academy at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) is now offering the Animal Welfare & Certified Animal Control Officer (ACO) Course approved by the New Jersey Department of Health. Over the course of seven (7) weekdays you will have to opportunity to be taught by, interact with, and build relationships with eight (8) of the foremost experts in the State of New Jersey regarding Animal Control
